Elected Officers

Officers are elected for two-year terms. All Chair Officers except the President may be reelected to consecutive terms. The President may be elected for only one additional consecutive term. Candidates for elective office must have been a member in good standing of Clan Lindsay for a minimum of two years prior to taking office.

President: Geoffrey G. Chaboude	Official representative of Clan Lindsay at all functions The Chief Executive Officer of Clan Lindsay Presides at all meetings of Clan Lindsay and of the Council May appoint ceremonial officers, such as Chaplain, Drum Major, Piper May appoint assistants to himself or to any other chair officer
Vice-president: Sara L. Thurmond, FSA Scot.	In the event of absence or disability of the President, discharges the duties of the President Administers the Area Representative system
Secretary: Sunnie Coletti	Records the minutes of all business meetings of the membership and of the Council Safeguards the corporate records of Clan Lindsay Maintains the roster of membership, including the current mailing addresses
Treasurer: Donald A. Byers	Receives and safeguards the funds of Clan Lindsay Notifies members when dues are payable and is responsible for collecting them Keeps an accurate record of all accounts and all expenditures, making such reports to the Council
Registrar: Betty Elliott	Responds to and processes new membership applications
Genealogist: (vacant)	Provides the administrative oversight of the official genealogist efforts of Clan Lindsay Coordinates the overall genealogical efforts of Clan Lindsay including the Lindsay surname and the allied family names and septs Represents Clan Lindsay on matters of a genealogical nature Serves as the official repository for the original copies of all genealogical information supplied by our membership Appoint individuals as required to provide the assistance
Councilors	Full voting members of the Council. There are three Councilors who have the following responsibilities: George Gaillard Jill Ray Thomas Thurmond
