Thanks to the contributions of each and every member of Clan Lindsay, our organization offers an extensive database of genealogical information for Lindsays and also for the septs of Clan Lindsay.

When someone submits an application for membership, they are asked to submit all their genealogy information to prove their relationship to the name Lindsay, or to a sept of Clan Lindsay. After an application has been approved for membership, the genealogy information is forwarded to the genealogist to be added to the Clan Lindsay genealogy database. This information is available through our genealogist. Copies of these genealogy charts are also available at the Odom Genealogical Library, Moultrie, GA and the Greenville Public Library, Carolina Room, Greenville, SC.

To protect the privacy of those contributing to this database, the Clan Lindsay Council has decided not to make this database available on this web site. However, we are happy to share this genealogy information with anyone who contacts the Clan Lindsay Genealogist.
